They aim to influence policies and practices that promote healthy aging, social inclusion, and economic security for people of all ages. Their Head of Operations, had already worked with an alternative agency to recruit a Part Time Financial Controller (3 days), but had not been successful.
Angela consulted with the Head of Operations and assessed both the JD and numeration. Angela advised of an increase in salary and to adopt a new title, Financial Controller, to align with the wider sector. This was taken on board and implemented. These key adjustments impacted positively on the search, opening the field to a selection of reputable candidates. Due to the role being fully remote and part time, we were also able to attract some brilliant candidates who were looking at reduced hours that spoke to their personal commitments. Angela ran the search over two weeks and long listed 10 candidates. Angela screened each candidate by meeting them via Teams, to confirm assess their suitability for the role and confirmed their Right to Work. This resulted in Angela shortlisting and submitting six of the ten candidates. The client interviewed all six candidates and invited two to the final stage, offering the role to the candidate of their choice the same day. Angela always keeps in touch with her candidates and it is wonderful to learn that they are very much enjoying working for this fantastic organisation, where they are able to add value and feel very much an integral part of the team.
