ACF was in need of an interim HR manager due to the restructuring of its leadership following the departure of the COO designate. With a clear mandate to manage key HR functions—including recruitment, staff onboarding, finalisation of a comprehensive staff handbook, and overall HR support—the organisation required a highly skilled interim professional to maintain continuity and uphold HR best practices.

Our consultant, Tatiana, initiated the process by holding a detailed Teams meeting with the CEO to fully understand the role’s challenges and requirements. Following this, she swiftly launched a targeted candidate search for an HR professional with proven interim experience and a strong background in managing complex HR functions within a charitable organisation. The role encompassed overseeing HR changes such as flexible working requests, parental leave, and ensuring that the staff handbook and employment contracts were updated to reflect current legal requirements.
