Amelia is our ‘go-to’ girl for all your recruitment needs in the regions, with a particular focus on fundraising and development opportunities. Amelia’s candidates and clients have both commented on her contagious energy and enthusiasm for the causes she works with and we think that’s what makes her so adept at matching the right person to the right role. Her approach is sincere and personal; supporting you to progress your career or develop and nurture your cause.
Amelia’s USP is her ability her to listen carefully to what you want and understand how to make that a reality.
A real Yorkshire girl, Amelia now lives and works just across the Pennines and has fundraised and volunteered for some wonderful causes including running the New York Marathon for Macmillan, where her fundraising efforts were as diverse as bake sales, raffles and a charity rave! Amelia’s hobbies and interests have been equally eclectic over the years from yoga to techno, brass banding to Sheffield Wednesday, and walking in the hills to dancing in the sunshine.
”Amelia helped us source our Fundraising Manager. As a brand new post for our growing organisation it was a bit of a minefield for us. Amelia’s knowledge and passion for the sector was amazing, we really wanted someone leading this recruitment who understood us and most importantly our values and how important they are to us. Amelia’s support throughout the whole process was fantastic! We had so many amazing candidates to interview. I look forward to working with Amelia again in the future.

”Amelia was a key factor to my transition from the retail sector into the charity sector. She was completely personable and dedicated. She took the time to understand me personally, my goals personally and professionally and offered fantastic advice and feedback. Super honest and a pleasure to work with on finding me my dream job! Only downside I miss speaking to her!

”We were finding it tricky to fill some fantastic fundraising roles and needed help to reach the right audience. Amelia's knowledge of the market and strong sector network meant she was able to offer lots of good advice about how to position and market each role. She sourced some great candidates and by working with her, we filled each of our roles first time. Amelia is friendly, down-to-earth, a real expert in what she does, and she seems to know just about everyone! I would recommend working with her and Charity People to recruit to fundraising roles.
