Tanya has been recruiting in the not-for-profit sector since 2016 and has spent the last 10 years dipping in out of voluntary work within her wider community. She is now our Community and events Fundraising specialist and is excited for her new adventures with Charity people.
Tanya loves to travel – She lived in Australia for two years and spent a total of four months backpacking around South East Asia. She comes from a family of musicians and likes to sing herself. She also has a passion for food and spends her time cooking and creating new delicious plant-based recipes in the kitchen.
She is passionate about social integration, connecting with people in the local community and has mentored young people to help build their self-confidence. Tanya is conscious of the impact she has on the environment and lives as ethically as possible – she is an advocate for recycling, avoiding fast fashion and upcycling.
