Director of Operations
Salary: Up to £50,000 with flexible working

Charity People are proud to be partnering with Reprezent, an award-winning youth development organization and media platform to help bring on board a Director Of Operations.

Reprezent is an award-winning youth development organization and media platform, helping young people realise their full personal potential through core social, emotion, and communication skills. We run training and development programmes and champion youth culture through a London-wide radio station, Reprezent 107.3 FM.
Since 2017, Reprezent has delivered Mental Health education and support to schools across Essex and London in the form of an interactive event, On The Level. As the winners of the 2021 HSJ Mental Health Innovation of the Year, we want you to set new standards of brilliance in 2022 and beyond.

About role

As Director of Operations, you will be accountable for the Finance Manager, Schools Project Manager, Radio Station Manager and liaise with other operational functions across the team. You will be a strategic thinker and planner, with strong operational experience and good finance skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to understand what it takes to turn vision into action. You will be passionate about issues faced by young people and social action and be able to build strong relationships with Reprezent volunteers and other stakeholders. You will demonstrate a genuine commitment to Reprezent’s mission and the organisation’s growth and success.

Main Duties:
* You will lead and produce strategies for Operations, Finance and HR within the organisation.
* Will help establish new foundations for the organisation and manage them through an unprecedented scale of growth.
* You’ll be responsible for scaling their impact, increasing Reprezent success, taking their outreach programme to the next level across the UK.
* You will work alongside some of the most dynamic emerging talent, exciting partners and founding CEO to ensure every one of our operations is delivered to its very best today and in the future.
* Volunteer engagement representation & management
* You will provide financial management and ensure processes are compliant.
* Business planning including systems and process

The Director of Operations is to be responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s Operations, People, Data and Finance functions. We’re looking for a confident, capable, collaborative and enthusiastic leader, who is passionate about transforming young people’s realities and experienced in directing operations to lead the Reprezent team. You will have experience of running an small to medium size organisation involving a wide range of stakeholders and audiences. Your role will be future facing so you will be also leading the delivery of their growth from proposal writing right the way through to billing and wrap up reports.
