Charity People are thrilled to have partnered with an inspiring hospice in their search for a Legacy and In Memory Lead. Managing a team you will deliver a successful legacy and in memory program that inspires individuals to leave a planned gift in their will or donate in memory of a loved one.
Legacy and In Memory Lead
Location: Esher, Surrey. Hybrid working offered, min 3 days in the Hospice.
Hours: 35 hours
Salary: £35-40k depending on experience
The Hospice provide high quality care to patients and families through illness and bereavement. Their team of specialist nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers and volunteers work at the hospice and with families at home. They are all experts in end-of-life care who put compassion and respect at the heart of everything they do.
Their fundraising is going through a period of growth and this is an exciting time to join a wonderful team, passionate about the important work of the hospice.
About the role
In this role you will plan and shape the delivery of the cross-organisational legacy marketing and in memory program and strategy. You will market online tribute funds and maximise conversion of in memory donors, legacy pledgers and regular givers. You will put the supporter at the heart of these campaigns and manage their journey with hospice.
You will coordinate legacy and in memory campaigns and communications through direct mail, telemarketing, paid social and other digital communications, managing budgets and working to KPIs. The team are driven and ambitious and you will manage and support them in their development.
We are looking for an empathetic and enthusiastic manager with experience in developing and delivering a successful marketing programme ideally within legacy or in memory fundraising. Your experience will include managing campaigns and communications across a range of channels including mail, email, telephone and social media. You will be confident in analysing data to inform strategy. Theses are growing areas for income generation and you will be motivated by adding value to them to make a difference to those benefiting from the services that the hospice offers.
You will be pro-active with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Your ability to be adaptable and work with a personal touch will be the key to your success.
