We are thrilled to be partnering with the Pathological Society, a Health-related Membership Body, to recruit their new Operations Coordinator.

Pathological Society are the leading academic pathology organisation in the UK, is a registered charity and has strategic charitable aims to promote and support education and research in pathology to improve the understanding of disease. It achieves these aims by the organisation of educational and scientific meetings and funding of research.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced committee secretary or EA, who is keen to work within a more varied role.

If you have extensive minute-taking experience and would relish the opportunity to receive comprehensive training in Grants Administration, this could be an exciting career step for you.

Overview:

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will lead on the following responsibilities:

  • Committee Management and Support

  • Grants Management (Training provided once in post)

  • Membership administration

  • Finance administration (Training provided once in post)

  • Meeting / Events coordination

As well as training, this role offers a broad range of benefits including flexible and hybrid working, with a requirement to be in the Aldgate office two days per week.

The Pathological Society is made up of just two posts, the Manager, and the role we are recruiting to. We understand this unique dynamic will not appeal to everyone.

If you have great organisation skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines we would like to hear from you. Due to the working dynamic, a good sense of teamwork, humour and a flexible approach is also essential.
