Charity People is heading up the search party for one of the North West’s biggest and most recognisable health and medical charities. We’re looking for a home-based Regional Fundraiser to act as community ambassador and local fundraising champion for the charity’s life-saving mission across Greater Manchester.
You’ll be a passionate advocate for the power of community spirit with the ability to build strong relationships with supporters and identify new opportunities. Working autonomously on an interesting and varied workload, you’ll recruit and develop a network of individuals and groups to generate fundraising activity and raise awareness.
Putting exceptional donor stewardship at the heart of everything you do, you’ll identify and develop long-term relationships and partnerships in your patch including schools, universities, local authorities, local groups, corporates and sporting organisations.
On our ‘wish list’:
* Brilliant relationship builder who can quickly build rapport
* Ability to inspire, encourage and motivate others
* Entrepreneurial spirit; able to identify and maximise new leads
* Fantastic communicator (both verbally and in writing)
* Project and budget management skills
Ideally, you’ll have community fundraising experience, although we’re open to engaging sales or business development professionals with proven experience working to targets.
Flexible, life and family-friendly working culture.
Homebased role. Long-term you’ll be out and about regularly across the Greater Manchester patch connecting with supporters.
For lots more detail on this exciting role, please send a copy of your CV to our North West consultant, Amelia Lee.
We will be meeting candidates on a rolling basis for this role, so please get in touch ASAP to avoid disappointment.
