ENT UK – Chief Executive Officer

The project

ENT UK is a professional membership organisation representing ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeons and healthcare professionals specialising in ENT and head and neck surgery across the UK.

The organisation provides support through professional development, training, education, and research promotion while advocating for high standards of patient care. ENT UK is committed to improving the diagnosis, treatment, and management of ENT-related conditions and ensuring the best outcomes for patients.

The Chief Executive Officer position was appointed in November and Amanda started soon after in December.

Our approach

ENT UK approached Charity People to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who could take their first organisational strategy forward and build on the significant progress made by their outgoing CEO.

Charity People’s Associate Director, Glen Manners, led on the successful appointment of ENTUK’s previous CEO, Katie Nurcombe so was already familiar with many of the nuances of the post and organisation. Glen worked closely with ENTUK to first understand how these organisational needs had developed since, including working culture and their vision for the future.
