The Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP) is a leading professional body for Jungian analysts and psychotherapists in the UK. With a rich heritage in psychoanalytic thought and clinical practice, SAP offers training, therapeutic services, and thought leadership through its journal and events. As a founder member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, SAP plays a vital role in upholding professional standards and advancing the field of analytical psychology. Charity People supported SAP in the appointment of an Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Our Approach

SAP was entering a period of strategic renewal and operational transformation. The Council sought an Interim CEO who could provide both visionary leadership and hands-on management, guiding the organisation through change while maintaining its high standards and collaborative culture.

Charity People worked closely with SAP to shape a recruitment campaign that was values-led and focused on identifying candidates with the emotional intelligence and strategic acumen needed for the role. The brief called for senior leadership experience within a not-for-profit or membership organisation, strong financial oversight capabilities, and a proven ability to manage change and engage diverse stakeholders.

The Outcome

Federico Moscogiuri was appointed as Interim Chief Executive Officer. With extensive leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector and a strong track record in strategic transformation, Federico brings the insight, diplomacy, and operational rigour needed to guide SAP through its next chapter. His appointment supports SAP’s goals of financial sustainability, organisational development, and deeper engagement with its members and wider community.
