Charity People are delighted to be working in partnership with an exciting Membership Organisation to recruit an Events Coordinator to come in and manage a range of events. The team deliver up to forty events a year, from webinars to multi-day international conferences and you will be joining a well established and high achieving team.
The Role
Reporting to the Events Manager, your role will involve supporting the team in delivering UK and international events, focusing on sponsor contract delivery and coordination of social venue logistics. You will also deliver UK based events and web events as and when required.
You will create detailed event plans to include timelines, maintain budgets for events and work closely with the Marketing Team to deliver marketing materials in support of the events. Furthermore, you will create new and build on existing relationships with sponsors, partner organisations and suppliers to obtain maximum value for money, revenue generation and customer satisfaction, along with measure and report on event performance.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with strong experience in creating, developing and managing events. You should have experience in web event delivery along with in person events. With strong attention to detail, a calm and methodical approach, you will have an ability to balance competing priorities and events simultaneously.
Ideally, you will have worked as an Events Assistant, Events Coordinator or even as an Events Manager.
Please note international travel may be required occasionally (2-3 times a year).
