Charity People

Philanthropy Manager

Full time, 35 hours per week. Flexible or part-time working available to the right candidate

£30,000 to £33,301 per annum, plus £500 home working allowance

Location – Home-based in the Midlands and requiring the ability to travel independently throughout the region, the post-holder will need to be within easy reach of either Nottingham or Birmingham

Charity People are excited to be working with one of the UK’s well-known National children’s charity to recruit a talented Philanthropy Manager to develop the Midlands patch. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain national charity experience working to support some of the region’s most vulnerable children.

To succeed you will collaborate with a broad range of colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure that donors and prospects are fully informed and inspired by what they do. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in major gifts or philanthropic motivations and current trends, although this role could work equally well with a talented candidate from the commercial sector with experience of high-value relationships.

You’ll be joining a friendly, passionate and sociable team with exciting and creative innovative projects on the horizon. If you are excellent at building relationships, pro-active and self-motivated and have great people skills then please get in touch with an up to date CV and a paragraph outlining your interest in the role. The closing date for the role is June 27th however; we are looking to speak to strong candidates ASAP.

Interviews will take place on July 12th or 14th.

Charity People actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion. We match charity needs with skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation. We do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater results for the charities we work with.
