Jen is our specialist consultant for roles including EA, PA, Administration, Operations, Volunteer Management and Service Support at Charity People. Jen worked in the charity sector for eight years with organisations including Christian Aid, Macmillan Cancer Support, Engineers Without Borders and VSO. Most recently she led programmes for the Mayor of London, working with charity sector partners to increase employability and improve social mobility for young Londoners through social action and volunteering. She also led programmes for veterans, Londoners not in education, training, and employment, and worked with the third sector to deliver projects tackling health inequalities, loneliness, and social isolation across London.
Having hired talent from the charity sector for the last 15 years as a senior leader, Jen is motivated by developing great partnerships with charities and helping to find the right people for brilliant roles. She likes to get to know charities and her candidates so she can make lasting placements. She is passionate about EDI and having worked in a successful job share for several years promotes the importance of flexible working arrangements to broaden and diversify the talent pool.
Outside of work, Jen can be found running around after her three young daughters, volunteering as a Governor at a local school, exploring woods and nature, or doing an open water swim for charity.
